They use lots of syrups to make the basic alcohol taste like malibu etc… Bar staff and reception staff were friendly and after complaining about our neighbours listening to German tv all night every night (switch off at 7am 🥹) we were moved to the annexe building which was peaceful 🙏. The drinks were not great so struggled to find something that didn’t taste like nail polish remover! We stuck to beer and caipirinhas. Think it was catering more for Russian/German tastes who make up 90% of guests so maybe not a good choice for fussy eaters. There was a good choice of food at each meal, lovely salads and fish for main and an abundance of Turkish puddings. There is a mosque opposite the hotel which does the call for prayer out of courtesy sometimes the entertainment team turn the music low which I think is very respectful. Beach and pool towles are available in the spa and they are always clean ones so no complaining. You have to pay for WiFi as it’s not ultra inclusive. I would recommend however I would expect a bit more for 5 star. It is a very clean hotel, no table service so do not expect that. Every night except for Sunday mert really entertains the children with mini disco. The only day we had some good entertainment was on Saturday foam party day. Beach is a lovely walk only uphill bit is on the way back but not bad it’s a good walk eventhough the shuttle comes every ten fifteen mins. There is a side bazaar five mins walk from the hotel. The ladies making pancakes and omelette in the morning are lovely. There is a variety of dishes however we found them a bit repetitive. We would see the entertainment team walk arnd the pool and on the beach the two twins did play a game. The life guards were amazing and defo very caring and friendly towards the children, they entertained the children more than the actually entertainment team. After that the holiday was good rooms cleaned everyday, all staff at the pool abt beach bar and snack bar were amazing. Eventhough he said we have to pay extra we said u sort that out with our holiday rep. He then moved our room and gave us a two single bed room, very annoyed at this point as we had two children and it was nearly 130 In the morning he then moved us to a room which was suitable for us and actually was pool view. So when we arrived around 1 in the morning we were placed in a three bed room for four of us, when we went to speak to the office manager he said well you paid for a standard room to which we had to explain yes a standard room for four guests. We got private transfers to and from the hotel with windmill airport transfers and also did a river cruise with them too. I'm really not sure what people find to complain about as we loved it and everyone we spoke to said the same. This hotel should be very proud of all there staff because they all are a credit to you we will definitely be returning again. And the bartender around the apartment pool area was also fantastic. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left everyone was so friendly and helpful, the bar staff who worked the lobby bar there was one young man ( can't remember his name) honestly went above and beyond to put a Ile on our face any drink we asked for they tried to make. Meals here were very good a couple of nights my son and I struggled( we are fussy) but we ate salad rice and chips and they did some lovely flat breads with some sort of meat in, which we just asked for plains one which they did, except for the last night when the chef refused we were not happy happy so my partner spoken to the restaurant manager and he got him to cook us some, that was the only person who was not willing to help. This hotel was fantastic we had a 2 bedroomed room overlooking the pool the room was spotless and there was so much storage space, our room was cleaned daily and the fridge restocked.
